Privacy policy

SponsorPriceIQ (“we”, “us”) gives newsletter and podcast creators niche-specific sponsorship pricing and a branded media kit. This page explains what data we collect, why, and which third-party services process it. If you only use the free calculator, almost none of this applies — see below.

The free calculator collects nothing

The pricing calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your inputs (audience size, open rate, niche) are never sent to us — they stay on your device, and we keep them between visits using your browser’s local storage only. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What we collect when you create an account or buy

  • Account identity. Sign-in is handled by Azure Static Web Apps using your chosen provider (Microsoft or GitHub). We receive a user id and your email address — we never see your password.
  • Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. We keep your Stripe customer id so we can confirm what you’ve purchased and let you manage billing.
  • Saved media kits. When you save a kit, we store the inputs you entered and your brand profile (business contact details, website, social handle, tagline and an optional logo image) so we can re-render the kit for you. These are stored in Azure Table Storage.

Analytics — Microsoft Clarity

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website through behavioural metrics, heatmaps, and session replay to improve and market our products and services. Website usage data is captured using first- and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies to determine the popularity of products and services and online activity. Additionally, we use this information for site optimisation, fraud and security purposes, and advertising. AI-written copy

Some paid kit copy is generated with Anthropic’s Claude models. When that runs, the kit inputs needed to write the copy are sent to Anthropic’s API to produce the text. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. See the Anthropic Privacy Policy.

Third parties we share data with

We rely on these processors. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data it handles:

  • Stripe — payments and billing.
  • Microsoft — hosting (Azure), sign-in, account storage, and Clarity analytics.
  • Anthropic — AI-written kit copy.

Cookies

We set a small number of cookies. We do not use cookies for advertising of our own.

  • CLID, MUID — set by Microsoft Clarity to recognise returning visitors for analytics, heatmaps and session replay.
  • Authentication cookie — set by Azure Static Web Apps to keep you signed in after you log in. Set only once you sign in.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account data and saved kits for as long as your account exists. You can delete any saved kit at any time from your account page. To delete your account and the data associated with it, email us at support@sponsorpriceiq.com and we’ll action it.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at support@sponsorpriceiq.com.
